Drug Uses
Zelnorm can also be prescribed to men and women to treat some types of chronic constipation. Zelnorn irritates bowel nerves thus stimulating bowel functions. Zelnorm helps to get normal stools. Zelnorm also ceases pain caused by constipation. The product gives wide effect on the whole nervous system of your bowel and maintains normal functions.
How Taken
Zelnorm comes in tablets to be taken orally with or without food. Younger patients should be very careful with the dosage. Dosage should be administered by a doctor.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Storage
Keep the product away heat, moisture and light. The temperature should be between 59 86 °F (15 30 °C). Make sure children cannot reach it.

Zelnorm may cause dizziness. These effects may worsen if Zelnorm is taken with alcohol or certain other medications. Use Zelnorm with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly unsafe tasks until you know how you react to this drug. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor. Zelnorm should be used only by the patient for whom it has been prescribed. Do not take less or more or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.
Warnings/Precautions
Before taking Zelnorm, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances, if you are allergic to any ingredient in Zelnorm, if you have liver problems, if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. If you become pregnant, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using Zelnorm during pregnancy. It is unknown if Zelnorm is excreted in breast milk. If you are or will be breastfeeding while you are using Zelnorm, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby. Some medicines may interact with Zelnorm. Therefore tell your doctor of all prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement that you are taking. Zelnorm may affect the results of certain lab tests (eg, false positive urine screen for THC/marijuana). Make sure laboratory personnel and your doctors know you use Zelnorm. Lab tests, such as liver function, may be performed to monitor your progress. Be sure to keep all doctor and lab appointments. Zelnorm is not recommended for use in children. Safety and effectiveness have not been confirmed.
